Telling Telecom and Research In Motion Sign Distribution Deal to Expand the Reach of BlackBerry Smartphones in China

Shenzhen & Beijing, China - Telling Telecom (Stock Code: 000829. SZ) and Research In Motion (RIM) (NASDAQ: RIMM; TSX: RIM) today announced a distribution agreement for BlackBerry® smartphones in China.
Telling Telecom will assist RIM to expand the national reach of BlackBerry smartphones through its strong knowledge and experience in the marketplace and its comprehensive relationships with local partners.
Commenting on the agreement, Mr. Yang Siqing, Chief Operation Officer, Telling Telecom, said, “As one of the leaders in mobile and handset distribution, Telling Telecom has built a vast network helping international brands launch products in China.
